Procreate now supports Photoshop brushes - great, right? Thanks to this, we can have the same brushes on the iPad and the computer at the same time., this is really an exciting development. In this quick tutorial, we'll take a look at how to import and install Photoshop brushes in Procreate.
To install Photoshop brushes in Procreate, you must first export them as a file with the .ABR extension or you can purchase our brush set in our store click here
Ready to get started? Great!
Before we jump into Procreate, make sure you have your Photoshop Brush ABR file downloaded and saved onto your iPad.
Navigate to the .ABR brush file using the Files app.
However, if you've just downloaded a brush from the Internet, it might be within a compressed ZIP document. If this is the case, we'll want to extract the contents so we can install the brushes.
With the ZIP file in your Files, tap on it. Your iPad will then extract the contents, as seen below, into a new folder.
Tap the ABR file that you'd like to import.
Now we get a visual confirmation that the brushes are importing. This process only takes a moment - then your brushes will be active and installed.
Once installed, you'll see your new brushes in a new Folder, on the left-hand side of your Procreate brushes.
I hope this short tutorial has helped you and you can now install your brushes. If you are looking for a complete Photoshop and Procreate brushes, visit our store by clicking here
